ICDC painted Kiambu golf club course ‘red’ on Saturday 26th April 2014 at a competitive Ladies Open and men’s mug golf tournament at the club. This annual event brought together 150 players, mostly from the business community within Kiambu County and its environs.

The ladies open was graced by Kenya’s current top female junior golfer Naomi Wafula and other notable female golfers. Naomi Wafula played a good game and scooped the Lady Winner title from over the 70 lady golfers at the tournament. Caroline Itangata, Lady Captain Vet Lab club was second while Mercy Nyanchama came in third.

At 12.30pm, the Men’s mug kicked off with close to 80 players.

ICDC Chief Manager Operations Mbatha Mbithi, was on hand to award the winners. She congratulated the players whilst thanking them for their participation.
