Mr. Herman Gacugi is the Internal Audit Manager, a position he has held since November 2018.

He has over 11 years experience in Finance and Banking, with profound involvement in automated processes, e-commerce, corporate governance, enterprise risk management, financial services regulatory frameworks, accounting, external and internal audit processes.

Prior to joining ICDC, he was a Management Accountant at Davis & Shirtliff supporting its East African subsidiaries.  He also served in middle and senior management positions at Chase Bank and Commercial Bank of Africa.

Mr. Gacugi holds a Master of Science degree in Information Communications Technology (ICT) from Jomo Kenyatta University of Science and Technology (JKUAT) and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in accounting from Egerton University.  He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPAK) and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
